With this shipping method, the tracking number will be provided 2 days after we ship the package. However, the tracking number will be in a pending status and will not be available for tracking immediately, as the package needs to be transferred to the USPS warehouse in US (which takes 6-10 days). Once the package arrives at Richardson, the tracking number will become active, and you will receive your package 3 days later. The estimated total shipping time is 9-12 days.
Although it is rare, due to the large shipment, there may be cases where the package is inspected by customs and stored for about 2 weeks before it reaches the USPS warehouse in Richardson. During this period, the package cannot be tracked. Therefore, we recommend choosing this method only for orders valued under $150.
The reason we limit the use of Epacket (USPS) is due to its operational process:
(1) The package is packed at our store
-> (2) It is shipped domestically.
-> (3) The shipping carrier provides us with a USPS tracking number.
-> (4) The shipment is transported by air and cleared at a commercial airport in the United States.
-> (5) The package arrives at the USPS warehouse in the United States.
-> (6) It is delivered to the customer.
Typically, this entire process takes about 12 days. However, the issue lies in step (3), where customers receive a tracking number, but when checking it on the USPS website, it has not been activated yet. The tracking number only gets activated at step (5) when the package reaches the USPS warehouse in the United States. Occasionally, shipments may be held at step (4) for 15 days to a month due to customs inspection of the entire batch. At this stage, many customers become frustrated because they cannot track their package and will frequently urge us for updates, which takes a lot of time for us to explain.
So please consider carefully when choosing Epacket. You need to be understanding and patient in case the package is inspected by customs, as the tracking number may not be active for 15 days to 1 month if this happens.
Best regards.
